Shafiq Husayn of Sa-Ra Creative Partners teams up with Garth Trinidad of KCRW’s “Chocolate City” to release a podcast mixed by Garth Trinidad. The mix/podcast includes Shafiq’s past work with SA-RA, Erykah Badu, John Legend, Jill Scott, Pharoah Monch, and many more as well as new tracks from his upcoming Shafiq En’ A-Free-Ka album, including “Cheeba” featuring Bilal, a previously un-leaked track.
Shafiq Husayn’s debut solo release, Shafiq En’ A-Free-Ka, hits stores on October 6th via Plug Research.
